By having your employees understand
what motivates a customer's visit, you'll not only increase your earnings,
but you'll build more customer loyalty. In addition, good customer service
will help to differentiate your business from the competition.
Excellent customer service is central to expanding your business outside of the conventional oil categories; bays, convenience store, car wash, etc. into a myriad of retail categories which may depend solely on the delivery of superior customer service. While you have invested thousands of dollars in the purchase of your business, equipment and products, it all ends up in the hands of a line-level employee. Customer service is the single most important element you can bring to any retail operation. Team Boston has developed G2k or Galaxy 2000. At the center of the Galaxy is our Customer, the Dealer. It will be Team Boston's responsibility to provide superior customer service, improve profitability and add value for our customer, Texaco and Shell branded dealers. Once again, our dealer is at the center of the Galaxy. The value added "planets" have been established through the remainder of the year. Planet 1: September 15th. Local store marketing. World-renowned Marc Slutsky, owner of Street Fighter Marketing, will be teaching Team Boston Dealer's how to develop local store marketing |
plans. Marc will continue to train
Team Boston Marketing Consultants so they may work with their customers
to complete their LSM plan.
Planet 2: October 14th. Sid Gregory, former CEO and owner of several businesses and Vice President of training for Marcoin, will conduct a seminar for writing a business plan. Team Boston customers will have the opportunity to complete, with their marketing consultants, a comprehensive business plan. Planet 3: November 18th. Sid Gregory and UT Management will return for a full day seminar on finance and succession and estate planning. Planet 4: December 9th. UT will conduct a full day seminar on Business Expansion and Co-branding. What to consider before co-branding and how to satisfy consumer conveniences. Planet 5: January 13th Tentatively scheduled, will involve capital expansion. A Connection Committee sub team is currently developing a program, which will establish our dealer as the beginning point for capital expansion.
