Team Boston Dealers are encouraged to invite their mates to our Holiday Introduction to Galaxy 2000. The program will include the Connection Committees presentation of the Galaxy initiatives for year 2000. The Holiday event will include a terrific motivational speaker, Dr. Zacharie Clemens who will discuss a topic of interest for everyone, "allowing people to perform at their best." The program will be brief, from 1:pm to 4:00, followed by holiday cheer. Please confirm with your Sales Consultant that your significant other will be attending.

Program Rules

Program Flow

  1. Quality Assurance Reviews by Trained Consumer Mystery Shoppers begin in March 1999.
  2. Gasoline Volume Purchase objective is calculated based on increase, 1999 over 1998.
  3. Phase 1 awards are given to top Retailers and Facility Employees based on Image and Customer Service scores.
  4. Consumer-Direct Evaluations through SpeakBack System start in Phase II of the program, beginning in June 1999.
  5. Skills training is measured at facility employee level.
  6. Phase II awards are given to top Facility Retailers/Employees.
  7. Quality Assurance Reviews are conducted twice during Phase III of the program.
  8. Phase III awards are given to top Retailers and Facility Employees based on image and Customer Service scores.
  9. Program-End awards are given to top Retailers based on overall Gasoline Volume, Image, Customer Service, SpeakBack!

Evaluation Criteria

You will be measured against criteria in these categories:

Gasoline Volume 500 points possible

Image and Customer Service 3,000 points possible

Training 250 points possible

SpeakBack! 250 points possible

Gasoline Volume: Retailers can earn 500 points based on 1999 purchase volume versus same period previous year.

Image Customer Service: Retailers can earn 3,000 points measured on a "yes/no" basis. 1,000 points can be earned in Phase I and 2,000 points in Phase III of the program.

Training: Retailers can earn 250 points based on employees at your facilities answering a series of questions over the telephone during Phase II.

SpeakBack! Consumer-Direct Evaluations: Retailers can earn 250 points based on responses from customers of your facilities during Phase II.

Year-end Top Performer Recognition Awards

Retailers

Based on highest percentage attainment of cumulative scores from the full year, top performing Retailers are eligible for the following awards.

Gold Level Awards for top performing Retailers based on highest percent attainment of year-end total program points from Gasoline Volume, Image, Customer Service, Training and SpeakBack! Consumer-Direct Evaluations

Grand Travel Award

Custom, limited-edition sculpture

Silver Level Awards for the second level of Retailers based on percent attainment of year-end total program points from Gasoline Volume, Image, Customer Service and all bonus categories.

500 points deposited to the Exclusively Yours Card. Custom, limited-edition sculpture.

Grand Travel Award

The 1999 top performing Retailers in The Winning Combination will join fellow winners and VIP hosts from Shell for an incomparable Grand Travel Award featuring dazzling highlights like you’ve known from the past.

Final details are still being worked out, but get plenty of rest. You’ll have so much to do you’re going to wish there were 48 hours in a day!

Phase-End Top Performer Recognition Awards

Retailers

Based on percentage attainment of scores during Phase I and Phase III, top-performing Retailers will earn:

250 points deposited to the Exclusively Yours Card.

Facility Employees

Retail Managers and Employees will be rewarded for their key contributions to program success with the prestigious Your Choice Card. This flexible award allows winners to browse through catalogs or visit selected retailers for the award of their choice.

Your employees have three distinct opportunities to earn recognition awards in "The Winning Combination:"

Top Performing Facility

Based on percentage attainment of scores during Phase I and Phase III, employees at top-performing facilities will earn:

A $25 Your Choice Card

Facility Employee Customer Service Sweepstakes

Trained Consumer Mystery Shoppers will identify facility employees who demonstrate "Winning Customer Service" during Phase I and Phase III. Each "Winning" employee will be recognized with a certificate and entered into a Phase-End sweepstakes for the chance to earn:

A $100 Your Choice Card

Facility Employee Training Skills Sweepstakes

Each facility will receive a call from Program Headquarters with a short customer service quiz for the employee answering the telephone. If the employee successfully completes the quiz, all employees at that facility will be entered into a Phase II sweepstakes for the chance to earn:

A $50 Your Choice Card.
